George Tooker wins National Medal of Arts
November 16th, 2007President George W. Bush announced the recipients of the 2007 National Medal of Arts. Painter George Tooker was among the award winners. This is the first museum site I have seen with a blog. I think it's great. this really shows that CMA is interested in connecting to newer audiences. More Arts institutions need to catch on! I also had no idea Tooker was even still living! What a surprise! Amazing painter!
