Family Program
Visit the Art Challenges station in the galleries to participate in exciting, competitive games that highlight a CMA artwork or collection. Compete against friends or family members, or challenge scores posted by other visitors. Prizes are part of the fun, and one winner each week will earn a CMA gift certificate.

The Columbus Museum of Art is alight with the works of glass artist Dale Chihuly. Chihuly Illuminated offers a feast of bold color, dramatic forms and extraordinary composition.

Come hear James Yood speak about Dale Chihuly's work in the context of other contemporary artists who sculpt glass and make use of light. Yood, a professor of Art History, Theory, and Criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, has authored several books and writes frequently for magazine, including Artforum, Art and Auction, and GLASS. This is the 2009 Cunningham Lecture. Dr. Charles Cunningham was a longtime friend and generous supporter of the Museum. Admission is $5 for nonmembers and free for CMA members. Seating is limited.
