This fun drop-in program is designed so that families with school-age children can discover and create together! Families will explore artwork in the galleries through a variety of interactive games and work together on a unique art project in the Nationwide Studio. Doodles art projects and activities change from month to month.

Family Sundays
For families with children ages 6 and older

Family Sundays are lively drop-in events when families with school-age children can enjoy and discover art together! Each Family Sunday celebrates an artist, current exhibition, or art concept and offers a variety of hands-on art projects, interactive gallery games, performing arts concerts and educational exhibits.
Family Sundays provide multiple opportunities for families to explore art together. All activities and projects are designed so that adults and children work together to have fun and meaningful experiences with great art at the museum. No registration required. Free.

This spirited drop-in program is designed so that families with young children can discover and create art together! Each 1st Saturdays program celebrates an artist, current exhibition or art concept and includes a hands-on art project, interactive gallery game and a related arts performance such as music, storytelling or theatre. All activities and projects are designed so that adults and children work together to have fun and meaningful experiences with great art at the Museum.

Play, pretend and create! In this animated month-long art class, families explore art together through play, movement, music, gallery games and art-making. This program is designed so that a child and favorite adult discover and create together!

Let your imagination soar this summer!

Students entering grades 1-6
Summer Art Workshops provide positive creative experiences for children entering first through sixth grades. Led by artists and art teachers, each workshop includes lively gallery sessions, imaginative activities, and unique art projects. Museum on the Move!
The Museum on the Move! Family outreach program brings hands-on art activities to local festivals, fairs, libraries and cultural events. Look for Museum on the Move! at the Columbus Arts Festival, the Columbus Metropolitan Library's Summer Reading Program, Red, White and Boom, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Popcorn Pops series, The New Albany Classic, the Good Neighbor Picnic and other events near you.
