Summer Fun

The Columbus Museum of Art is offering FREE admission to the public during July and August!

Donors to the arts, who have made this possible, have done a wonderful thing for families. This generosity will help parents who wish to keep their children busy and mentally stimulated while school is out. And for the adults, many of whom have heavy worries these days, a bit of culture could be a welcome diversion.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our members, our Summer Fun initiative will provide FREE admission to the Columbus Museum of Art, including all special exhibitions, in July and August. Many central Ohio families are struggling as the economic downturn hits home. They are making hard decisions, canceling vacations and cutting back on non-essential expenses. In these times, art matters more than ever in our community. The transformational power of art can revitalize the spirit and remind us what makes life beautiful. Summer Fun is one way for us to express our gratitude for the support the Central Ohio community has shown for us over the years and to give our community a gift in return.

Summer Fun at the Museum is a perfect time for families to take a deep breath, explore new ideas together, and share special experiences. It includes a host of activities to engage and inspire you and your family such as:

  • Drawing in the Galleries
  • Family Adventures
  • Art Challenges
  • Artist Brown Bag Lunches
  • Surprise Supplies Saturdays
  • Musical performances every Sunday
