CMA After Hours: Honoring Black Creativity and Culture

Experience this event as part of CMA After Hours, a weekly program through May 2025.
Celebrate the kick-off to Black History Month at CMA After Hours with an evening of art, culture, and community. Enjoy music from Sonicc Blush, a bar with fresh libations, small bites by
Kitchen Delicious, a photo booth by
A&K Memories, unique vendors, and a live performance by
The Ohio State University Department of Dance.
In collaboration with
Irrepressible Soul, featured artists include
Hakim Callwood with music from
Sonicc Blush, and vendors Imani Tate,
Inxovate,
Krafted by Kie, and
Wyze Art.
Plus, at 6:30 PM students from
Ohio State Dance will perform
Four Corners, choreographed by Ronald K. Brown and originally commissioned by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2014.
Admission is just $5 for Thursday nights and includes full access to the galleries and this special celebration of Black creativity and culture. Members enjoy free entry. Registration is encouraged.
