COVID-19 Update

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus Museum of Art and Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art announce that we are temporarily closing to the public for three weeks as of the end of business on Saturday, March 14 in alignment with official health and government recommendations.

Closing our doors in the interests slowing the opportunity for transmission, and in solidarity with many other museums and cultural organizations in Central Ohio, is the right thing to do right now. We will continue to monitor the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and prioritize the safety of our visitors and our staff.

Over the next few weeks we will be assessing the situation and reviewing options for when we will be able to re-open to the public. Please continue to check our website, columbusmuseum.org, and social media, @columbusmuseum and @pizzuticollection, for updates.

This decision has been carefully considered, as we know museums and galleries are community spaces. Please check back with us as we create ways to share stories celebrating creativity, art, and our current exhibition, Art after Stonewall, 1969-1989.

We appreciate your understanding as we do our part to mitigate the spread of the virus in our community.
