DAVID J. STALEY, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of History and an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Design at The Ohio State University, where he also serves as Director of The Harvey Goldberg Center for Excellence in Teaching. He is the author of three books: Computers, Visualization and History, History and Future: Using Historical Thinking to Imagine the Future and Brain, Mind and Internet: A Deep History and Future.
He is the author most recently of “The Future of the University: Speculative Design for Innovation in Higher Education.” He serves as President of Columbus Futurists (http://columbusfuturists.org), and writes the monthly futures column “Next” for ColumbusUnderground.com
