CMA general admission includes admission to the Wonder Room and exhibitions in the JPMorgan Chase Center for Creativity. Both CMA and Pizzuti Collection of CMA are free every Sunday.

What to Do at Columbus Museum of Art Over Winter Break

Tuesday – Saturday
Visit our JPMorgan Chase Center for Creativity and the new textile-based Wonder Room to play fashion designer, create rug designs, or make Alexander Calder inspired collages out of felt. Check out the Think Outside the Brick exhibition which celebrates the creative potential of LEGO, and the HOME in the Big Idea Gallery which celebrates the idea of home. All activities in the JPMorgan Chase Center for Creativity are included with admission.

Thursday
On Thursdays from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Columbus teens are welcome to join us for our Teen Open Studio, a free, drop-in program in a space designated just for them where they can experiment with technology and art supplies, or just hang out with friends. Parents and siblings can enjoy the Museum’s permanent collection and JPMorgan Chase Center for Creativity while their teen is at Teen Open Studio free of charge. 

Friday
On Fridays from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Columbus teens are welcome to join us for our Teen Open Studio, a free, drop-in program in a space designated just for them where they can experiment with technology and art supplies, or just hang out with friends. Parents and siblings can enjoy the Museum’s permanent collection and JPMorgan Chase Center for Creativity while their teen is at Teen Open Studio free of charge. 

Saturday
From 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, families with children 18 months to 5 years can talk, play and think creatively in Young Child Studios. From 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, visitors of all ages are welcome to drop into CMA’s Open Studio to explore ideas, solve creative challenges, and collaborate with friends or family. This program is free with admission, no registration requested. In December explore Think Outside the Brick and make your own mini masterpieces. The theme for January is Hatching – birds, dinosaurs, platypuses, and ideas.

Sunday
Families can visit CMA free of charge. Check out our JPMorgan Chase Center for Creativity and the new textile-based Wonder Room to play fashion designer, create rug designs, or make Alexander Calder inspired collages out of felt. Check out the Think Outside the Brick exhibition which celebrates the creative potential of LEGO, and HOME in the Big Idea Gallery, which celebrates the idea of home. In the CMA galleries, families can solve puzzles, play games, and join conversation boards. You can also stop by our admissions desk and pick up a scavenger hunt and other self-guided tours.

What to Do at PIzzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art Over Winter Break

Spotlight Tour: Saturday, December 28, 2:00 pm 
Spotlight Tours indulge visitors to the Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art with a focused one-hour experience in the galleries highlighting a featured exhibition or set of artworks on view. This program is included with general admission. All are welcome. No registration requested.

Thursday – Sunday
Enjoy contemporary art at the Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art including Driving Forces, featuring artwork from the leading figures of contemporary art from the collection of Ron and Ann Pizzuti. Artists from this exhibit include Nick Cave, Maria Abramovik, Frank Stella, and more.

Visiting CMA
Columbus Museum of Art is located in the Discovery District, just four blocks east of the State Capitol, at 480 East Broad Street.

CMA, Museum Store, and Schokko Cafe are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Museum admission is $18 for adults; $9 for seniors, students and children 4 and older. Members and children 3 and younger are free. Special exhibition fees may also apply. General admission is free for all on Sundays. 

Public transportation is available via COTA; the #10 line bus stops in front of the Museum. There is also a CoGo Bike Share station in front of the Museum on Broad Street. CMA charges a flat rate of $5 for parking in the Museum’s East Gay lot. CMA members park for free.

Visiting Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art
Pizzuti Collection of CMA is located at 632 North Park Street, one block west of High Street in the Short North neighborhood, between Goodale and Buttles, facing the east side of Goodale.

Pizzuti Collection of CMA is open Thursday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Friday and Saturday  10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Admission for all is $8 except for members and on Sundays.

There are many options for parking near the Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art. The Short North has multiple parking garages, as well as metered street parking.
