Columbus in Cuba is a documentary about a group of Columbus artists who traveled to Cuba to participate in a pair of prestigious exhibitions:
ConnectArt and the 13th Havana Biennial in Matanzas, Cuba. The film, created by central Ohio filmmakers Nikki and Matt Swift of Nicolettecinemgraphics, will make its debut with a free screening at the Gateway Film Center on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. Another free screening will take place at the Columbus Museum of Art, in conjunction with Columbus College of Art & Design, on Thursday, Jan. 16, with a reception at 5:30 p.m., showing at 6 p.m., and a Q&A with artists to follow.
