Open Studio at CMA engages creative thinking through material exploration with local teaching artists and community partner, Ohio Assosication of Art Education (OAAE). Teaching artists lead each program based on monthly prompts and provide creative instruction. Open Studio experiences are included with admission to CMA, materials and supplies provided.

Mindy Staley is a painter, and paints rhinos as a signature subject, as well as a high school art teacher in Whitehall. Join her in gathering a collection of objects and create a watercolor painting. We will use wax resist to draw warm color leaves or cool color seashells in class.
