Open Studio at CMA engages creative thinking through material exploration with local community partner, Ohio Alliance for Arts Education (OAAE). Join local OAAE artist Mindy Staley for Studio engagement from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. All Studio experiences are designed as drop-in experiences, where you can work alongside the visiting artist.

Open Studio encourages visitors to think and make like artists. Individuals of all ages are welcome to step into the Studio to explore and experiment with our wide range of materials and supplies.

May Theme: Myths and Legends
Legend has it that in the far far away land of Columbus, Ohio, there is a space to create that is filled with magical creatures. The story goes that at the Columbus Museum of Art, there is a Studio. Travelers have come back with tales of a magical place filled with anything from unicorns, dragons, to sea monsters, plus all the art supplies desired.

Open Studio is open every Saturday from 10:30 AM–3:30 PM and is included with admission to the Museum. All Studio Activities
