CMA, in partnership with Columbus Symphony Orchestra (CSO) presents this afternoon series pairing lectures exploring works from CMA’s collection with chamber music performances. This event features a look at the Art of Spain with two great masters of modern art Francisco Goya and Salvador Dalí. Goya’s compelling, frequently dark images of Spanish life embody the essence of Romantic art. In the early 20th century, as the preeminent Surrealist, Dalí made visible our subconscious fantasies against the backdrop of World War II and its aftermath. Cost of the program is $20 for nonmembers (includes general admission) and $5 for CMA members.
