This past year, the Museum has had the unique opportunity to reimagine the permanent collection galleries to focus on some of our most important and loved works, including some that may not always get the attention they deserve. From Impressionism to Cubism and beyond, this new installation emphasizes both visual and historical connections between diverse works, including major works by European artists like Monet, Matisse, Degas, and Picasso; highlights by important American modernists like Marsden Hartley and Charles Demuth; and renowned Columbus artists as well.
To celebrate this beautiful installation of the permanent collection, we invite you to sponsor a work you love. Maybe it has inspired you on a walk through the galleries? Maybe it has a special meaning for you or your family? Whatever the reason, we invite you to “own” this work through 2023. To recognize your sponsorship, your chosen work will include a label with your name, a quote about why it is special to you, and any additional information you would like to include to share with others.
We’ve included some of our most beloved works here. Many additional works are on view and available for your sponsorship at a variety of levels as well. To discuss additional opportunities, please contact Gabriel Mastin at gabriel.mastin@cmaohio.org or 614-629-0307, or Lucy Ackley at 614-629-0351.
If you are sponsoring a piece in the CMA permanent collection be sure to list the piece and exactly how you would like to be recognized on the donor wall.
