Columbus Museum of Art Membership

Members always get free admission and additional benefits including free parking and discounts at the Museum Store and Schokko Café. Check out more information here.


Blue Star Museum Program

Free admission to active duty, retired military, veterans and their families. Simply show your active-duty military personnel or military family I.D. at the admission desk for free entry.


Monuments Men Foundation Program

Members of The Monuments Men Foundation receive free admission to CMA. To learn more about The Monuments Men Foundation and their work, please visit: https://www.monumentsmenfoundation.org/


Reciprocal Program

Columbus Member Advantage

CMA Members can save $3 on general admission to select Central Ohio museums and attractions through the Columbus Member Advantage program. To redeem, simply show your valid CMA Membership card each time you visit! Offer cannot be redeemed online. Columbus Member Advantage partners for 2024 include: 

(Important Terms & Restrictions: Discount good for $3 off per person on general admission only. Limit four (4) discounts per visit. Tickets must be purchased from the admissions area of the facility you are visiting. Cannot be combined with other discounts or offers. Not valid on prior purchases. No rain checks or refunds. Some restrictions may apply. Offer expires December 31, 2024 unless otherwise noted. Please check institution websites for current status and hours of operation.)

Senior, Educator and Student Discounts

General Membership discount of 10% for seniors, educators, and students is available for Individual, Family, and Reciprocal level memberships. For more information or to receive these discounts, please inquire at the CMA Admissions Desk with a valid ID or call the Membership Office at 614.629.0344. Discounts are not available online and may not be applied retroactively or combined with other promotions.


Free Admission during BAM Thursdays from 5:00–10:00 PM

Every Thursday through September 26, enjoy free admission as part of BAM Thursdays from 5:00–10:00 PM.


Check Out a Free Pass at your Local Library

Columbus Museum of Art has a partnership with Columbus Metropolitan Library to offer free visits through their Culture Pass program. This program aligns with our mission to create great experiences with great art for EVERYONE.

As part of the Culture Pass program, CML customers can borrow a one-time pass (which must be checked out in person) to visit the Museum. These passes can be found at all 23 Columbus Metropolitan Library locations. More details and information about the Culture Pass program can be found by clicking here.

In addition to CML, Museum passes are now available at several Central Ohio libraries, including Delaware County, Pickaway County, Pickerington, Fairfield County, Worthington, Grandview, Wagnalls Memorial Library, Westerville Library, Southwest Public Libraries, Kate Love Simpson Library, Hurt/Battelle Memorial Library, Upper Arlington Public Library, Mechanicsburg Public Library, and Community Library of Sunbury, Ohio. Contact your library directly to check-out a pass.


Free Columbus Youth Admission through September 18

Columbus Museum of Art is excited to announce that general admission will be free for youth residents of the City of Columbus under the age of 18 now through September 18, 2024. This initiative is generously funded by the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department through The City of Columbus Summer Youth Programming Grant. Learn more here.

This program offers free museum access to bank cardholders at the Columbus Museum of Art and more than 225 other cultural institutions across the U.S. on the first full weekend of each month. Learn more here.
